I will start by saying that this is suspected to be a scam. This is due to my daughter being scammed in the last few days by a very similar one. This one, my wife was involved in.

My wife responded to an on-line ad looking for mystery shoppers. She partially filled out a form and then decided she was not interested and stopped there. This was some 2-3 weeks ago. Early this week she received a check for $2,450.85 in the mail. This is almost identical to the scam our daughter was involved in, costing us some $3,000.00. We have discussed this with the County Fraud Div. and were given your wed site to report this scam.
