Posh Pocket Pups Reports & Reviews (10)

I found the people so caring and helpful and truly knew much about the micro poodle’s behavior l and size and needs Tia the person I spoke with promised to send the pup via air cargo and we were working on the logistics. I sent 2 deposits via Venmo amounting yo $3000 with the promise $2000 more and I could have the puppy. The Venmo was said to be in her husbands name then she sent banking info for transfer of remaining funds. Then I became suspicious as no state or city and name nor a business name but a strange personal name on the account. So I checked her map online for the address using google maps and land and house for sale and not in their name. Then I communicated with her again and shared my concerns and she said she was a home breeder but I responded with 40 pups for sale not possible. Then I called the Animal Health Dept in Mn. And they are not registered there. This means out of country website so US can not take down. I called BBB and they said known scammers. I filed a complaint with Venmo . I called the police dept and filled out a form for interstate scamming. I am so very sad as the woman was so kind and most of all I loved the puppy I saw on video. Next time ask to see on zoom with the person so to know not grabbed from another website . It could be a good business as buy the pup at a normal price and sell fir a profit better than scamming. I wish I had extra money to throw around to test the waters more. Scammed is scammed. Nina Meyerhof

So I was contacted by this so-called Alyssa and everything seemed legit and ended up getting scammed. I didn't want to send no money because of the scammers always out on the hunt for a new victim and asked to pick up the dog instead. She was very helpful and mentioned what airport I could go to and that she could pick me up from the airport and all and would give me places to go site seeing, so I honestly thought she was legit. Then I had asked if I booked my flight for this Sunday I could take the dog, she said yes. Then later started getting upset because I didn't give a deposit and said she would have some type of sale today on the website and the dogs could be sold, and she couldn't hold it without a deposit. So I sent her by text my credit card info, I was iffy, but she said if this was a scam u could always call the credit company and say it was fraud and u will be covered, and they insure u. This morning I had several calls from the credit card asking if all these new transactions were mine. OMG they charged so much [censored] on my card and fast. Now that I call her she won't answer my text or calls at all, and today we had a FaceTime meeting to see the dogs but what a coincidence her daughter was not there to face time me because she has an iPhone and her daughter never showed. She is a scammer and please people read this and report her to the FBI like I did.

This company is a highly sophisticated scam for $8,000+ for a micro teacup puppy. I received phone calls screening me as an appropriate pet owner, the website is very professional, they even sent me updated video of the puppy I had selected. Until I received the wire transfer request having me send it to Abu Dhabi I was convinced this was the real deal. When I questioned the location of the transfer I was told it was for tax break reasons. Once I called them out as a scam they cut all communications. I am not easily conned, but they had me hook line and sinker until the wire transfer request came. PLEASE DON'T FALL FOR THIS.

Posh Pocket Pups is the most sophisticated and elaborate, multinational cyber-crime / internet crime ring in regards to dog breeders, which has been evolving in scamming consumers for over a decade.

We were defrauded by being lured into a very reputable and above-board website, Posh Pocket Pups.com, reserving a micro poodle. The reservation process also seemed legitimate until we provided our credit card number and were not being immediately billed. (1st Red Flag)

The alleged member of said cyber-crime ring, known aliases, Alyssa OR Ann, proceeded to immediately contact us to further explain the reservation and purchase process. However, when she explained why she did not bill us immediately, she states “Wanted to verify to ensure a child did not get a hold of their parents credit card.”

Moreover, a charge of $959 to our account took over four days to appear and once it settled against our account, that’s when the true trepidation / fear of being scammed, began to set in.

We were invoiced, via email, by Micro Teacups (2nd Red Flag), we were emailed by [email protected] (3rd Red Flag), and we were finally billed by Rosedale Animal Hospital (Final Red Flag), in Canadian currency!!!

To add insult to injury, Alyssa, or whatever her name is, was contacted by us and when questioned, “Why are we not being billed by Micro Teacups based out of Montana” and she stated in response, ‘Due to COVID she is breeding pups out of her clinic in entitled ‘Rosedale Animal Hospital,’ Toronto, Canada., and her sister helps her out of Montana.

Although we wanted to give this person a chance, due to the rarity of finding a teacup poodle, we were not willing to let this business bill us for a remaining $8450 balance included airfare and 6% credit card surcharge.

We have filed for an investigation with our bank and submitted this report to help protect other unsuspecting consumers from being victims.

PLEASE,PLEASE DON'T trust this place (www.poshpocketpups.com) and there are several other sites.
We believe the owner (AKA Kim) when she said she was having trouble with her bank and we wired $18,000.00 for 3 puppies including Nanny delivery! She also hacked our visa card and ordered almost 6,000 worth of products from Sephora. Thank goodness Visa declined the purchase. We so badly want other to know NOT to buy anything from anywhere that they are requesting a wire transfer. I have filed a complaint with the FBI and have hired a private investigator to hunt them down. We found their IP address to be an apartment. Please listen to others who have suffered.

SCAM ALERT. DO NOT BUY A DOG FROM POSH POCKET PUPS.COM. 406-204-1966.

We found a red, two pound, teacup poodle named Reign on the website. We wanted to buy him for our six year old son. We contacted Reidie Sparks of Posh Pocket Pups at this number. We discussed the dog and delivery. We agreed to buy it after numerous discussions and texts. We tried to pay by credit card but they would not accept it so we wired $6000.00 to a valid account at the Public Service Credit Union in Englewood, Colorado.

We requested delivery when we bought the dog. We were first told that delivery could not occur until February 1, then she said it would be earlier. Then we asked for proof that the dog existed since there would be a delay, and were sent an old video that was not proof of anything. Then we discovered that the dog we were buying, Reign, appeared in a website from about a year earlier as Wreath. At that point we asked for a refund of our $6000.00. First we were told no refunds, then they said it would take 30 days for the "accounting" department to process the refund which we did not believe. Then, we went to the police.

Reidie told the police that they had a no refund policy (even though they would not send us the dog we bought?). The next day she sent an air shipping order signed by Anne Sparks for a dog from Denver to Ft. Lauderdale through United Airways Pet Safe program. We were happy that our son was getting his dog in the end. We went to the airport the next day to pick up the dog. They sent an 18 pound Heeler puppy (worth about $200). These are sick people.

United contacted the scammers. They said they had a no return policy again, even after being reminded that they intentionally sent us the wrong dog. We did not want to take possession of the dog we did not buy so we had the Heeler shipped back to Denver. United contacted the scammers to pick it up, and they refused. United has never had a case of someone abandoning their dog, and kindly are finding a home
