We agreed to the price of the dog along with 150 for the shipping fee and I sent the money. About 2 hours later I received a message with a tracking number and verified it was correct. Then just 2 hours after that I received a message from the “shipping company” saying that we needed refundable insurance on the puppy during the travel that was only refunded if no issue with the puppy and he arrived safe and sound. So we took care of that.
One day later we received another message from the shipping company that the puppy was in OK and needed a different crate which would cost (refundable) 1100.
I contacted the breeder as the crate was included in her portion and she tells me just to pay it via Zelle or Cash AP to her and she would take care of it. I refused at this point.
Needless to say there is no puppy and my bank is working on trying to get my money back.
