Polymath LLC Reports & Reviews (12)

This fraudulent company teamed-up with another scammer, MyMovingChanges.com, to impersonate the USPS website. They charged me $99.80 what should have cost me only $1.10. As soon as I discovered this fraudulent charge, I contacted my credit company who issued me an immediate credit of $99.80. Then I called the merchant's phone number, but couldn't speak to any live person. Of course, these frauds are hiding behind the menu. So, I went through the menu options and cancelled all services that they signed me up WITHOUT EVER telling me what the services were, how much they cost, or whether I wanted them or not? At the end, they dropped the final charge down to $1.95. I was so fired-up by this fraudsters, that I filed a formal complaint with the Federal Trade Commission, and currently awaiting for their investigation and actions against these scammers.

I googled how to change address during a move from one location to another. Paid 29.95

I just Googled to change my address hoping it would have the USPS on top of the list. Without noticing it was an ad and this website that I clicked and filled the address change form with this company. I feel so upset. After following all the steps, the website never tells you how much it's going to cost and it asks for your card information to process it. I was charged a lot. How can they charge $99.60 for something that should cost a little over $1? Very upsetting. I feel fooled. Called the costumer service immediately to cancel it and they tried to negociate charging me less. I asked again to cancel everything about it and they ended up charging me $1.95 total just for the address change. I'm satisfied with the final outcome but extremely upset with the scamming strategy of taking money from innocent people that make mistakes. Don't be fooled.

If you search for "change mailing address" on google, the first result (a sponsored one) forwards to a website that seems superficially like the USPS change of address form, but charges ~$100 instead of $2. They hide the information about price (never mention it) unless you explicitly look for it. The scammiest part is that they never tell you what they are going to charge you when confirming the credit card. They are used to being confused with the USPS website, and make you jump through some hoops to cancel the transaction. I believe they will cancel the charge, but it will take a few days to find out.

This website is popped on the top from google when I need to update my mailing address. the web like looks very similar with post office web site and never mention about the charge fee. It did charge me for $89.55 instead of post office $1. You will receive the confirmation email after you request the mailing address change. You will need to pay $69.95 for one time charge if you cancel. No phone call will be reach out when you try to call. I immediately reached out my credit card company to dispute this transaction. This report just like to give all consumers heads up.

Don't fall for this fake change of address website. It is the first result on Google!

Charged me $89.65 to do address change which I thought was USPS, I called the next day to ask for a refund and cancel my service, because that was ridiculous! I am still awaiting 7 days later and my bank shows no transaction of this charge or refund being processed, I have email confirmation from the company as well as spoken with someone from the company 3 times..

I tried to change my postal address on a website that appeared to be operated by the USPS. Turned out to be a scam and I was charged $90 for changing my address. I reported it right away. This is a scam. Remember that changing your postal address should be free. I found that out too late.

I was changing my address, talking to my spouse, I said hey, the post office has a charge to change address, he says yeah $1.05 so I didn't think anything of it. So it was like the transaction never completed , it just kept spinning. I came out and nothing. I checked my phone because every time there is a transaction to my acct it chimes. Well imagine my shock at an 89.75 fee for and address change. I immediately called my bank. I then saw the email from THE SCAMMERs . After completing the form with my bank I called THEM. Can you believe they kept talking over me trying to sell me stuff. I told that man to CANCEL this now. Cancel it Now! wow! I did get a confirmation to cancel, he made up a confirmation code over the phone. Bunch of losers. BEWARE. I

I’m in the process of moving, I went to change my address through the usps website and this site popped up posing as the usps. They changed my card $89.95 and when I called to ask them to cancel my order they said all they could do was charge me half... $39.95... mind you I’m in the process of moving so this money is crucial...

What happened:

- Searched for change of address usps on Google, and the first result was a link with usps in the title, and a very official looking, traditional auto-fill form.

- Filled out the details, put my credit card in expecting the $1.05 charge that is traditional from usps, and it declined. Weird, but maybe marked as fraud since I've been making several payments in an area I've never been before.

- They also had extraneous questions about being taken off national cold call list, do you want coupons, do you want us to notify other companies and more (some listed below in email copy)

- They have full name, birth year, home ownership or renter, email address, previous address and new address (credit card was cancelled)

- Cleared charge and saw it was $79.95!

- Immediately looked up scam, and there's a laundry list of ScamPulse.com complaints and a notice that this has been happening since July 2020

- Tried calling their customer service number, hosted in Utah, and became more and more clear this was a scam - on hold for about ten minutes before I hung up

Initial declined charge was from addresschangeforms.org

Declined (temp cleared) charge was from mypostaladdress.com

Email was from [email protected]

I WAS ON THE USPS WEBSITE, CHANGE ADDRESS, ADDED CREDIT CARD FOR WHAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A $1.00 FEE. WHEN I CHECKED MY CREDIT CARD TRANSACTIONS, THERE WAS A $79.95 CHARGE FOR CHANGE OF ADDRESS WHICH I DID NOT AUTHORIZE. THIS IS FRAUD. I CALLED THE NUMBER WHICH HAD BEEN DISCONNECTED 385-259-7847. SOMEONE HAS BEEN CALLING LEAVING VOICEMAILS WHO IS RESPONDING TO MY EMAIL REQUEST TO CANCEL AND REFUND MY MONEY, THEIR PHONE NUMBER IS 480-999-9697. THIS IS SCAM, MISLEADING AND UNACCEPTABLE AND WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.
