The scammer called as Sergent Peter Taylor, badge #9464 and case #19855. He stated that your oldest grandchild was involved in a serious accident and was now in jail and needed to be bailed out to the cost of $1300-$1900. He lets you talk to the "fake" grandchild. If you don't recognize the voice of your grandchild, it is because he was badly injured and has 14 stitches across the face and around mouth area. The individual claims he will commit suicide because he just cannot stay in jail. He pleads with the grandparent not to tell anyone about what is going on. The instructions are to send the money within 2 hours and send from a Wal-Mart to another Wal-Mart. When the money was not sent in the allotted time frame, this Sergent Taylor called back wondering where the money was.
