Left a voicemail stating my PNM was past due and getting disconnected unless I called back for payment. I haven’t had a PNM in my name in 4 years nor do I owe them money.

We received a phone call stating our electric was going to be shut off. They wanted our personal information but we would not give it to them. I pulled up our account online for electric company and we are current with no payment due. Please do NOT supply information to anyone calling you!!! Look up the number for your utility company and call them directly to verify your account status and report the scam call. This is getting out of control. Please know that your utility company will not call you directly but will send a notice through the mail on company letter head. We need to be careful during these times to ensure folks are not gaining access to your personal information.
