I was approached via text about a remote position for data entry, for the Pluri Bio-tech company. I was instructed to download the Telegram app and contact the hiring manager Brad Williams. Once I contacted him, he explained the job, what my duties would be, and what the compensation would be. There was a set of 14 questions I was required to answer in order to proceed with the interview process. Once completed, I was warmly welcomed to the team, sent an email from the company for my paperwork and ID, then instructed to wait for a check to arrive for the equipment to set up my home office. On e i received the check I had to deposit it, and send a picture of the deposit slip; in order to receive further instructions on what was next in the new hire process. After the funds cleared I was instructed to purchase a printer on Amazon.com, after which I was instructed to Zelle the software vendor for them to upload the software to the 2 Apple devices that were going to then be FedEx'd to me. As soon as I attempted this transaction, my account flagged the contact information as fraudulent and locked my account. I then contacted my bank to understand why; when they connected me to the fraud department for more information. I contacted the hiring manager to inquire about the fraud flag,and his only response was that it was not Pluri Bio-tech but coming from my bank. The bank instructed me to communicate to the company that the funds would be on hold for 7 days. At which point, the hiring manager claimed that was "too long". This occured Saturday June 3rd and as of today the entire amount is gone from my account leaving it overdafted. I have screenshots of the entire conversation between myself and Pluri Bio-tech hiring manager Brad Williams.

I have been desperately looking for work since October 2022, and I have a young daughter, i am worse off now than before accepting the job.
