I applied for Data Entry Clerk positions and I've encountered many scams. I was told for this job to download an SMS app for a text interview. After seeing how bad this person's English was, I knew it was a scam. Exact same scams have bad English, 30-minute interviews, and only take 10 minutes to "hire" you. I almost know for a fact that this would have happened if I continued.

Like similar reviews I have found they had a recruiter by the name of Arilena Cruz reach out via text (818)483-6869 & ask that I download the App Telegram to move forward with an interview. The hiring manager is who I would be speaking with & his username was NicholasWilson1. After downloading the App I proceeded to have the interview via chat & at the end they welcomed me to the team. I provided my bank name & home address so they could mail me a check for purchasing supplies needed (printer, laptop, software ect) At the time they disclosed they were based out of Israel & needed to know the bank name to make sure they could ensure payment/compensation. They said they would send hire paperwork & additional info the following day & that I was to reach back out the following morning. After discussing my suspicion with my husband I deleted the conversations & app (after taking screen shots of all contact info & conversations). I did not reply the following day. Fast forward 2 days after no further contact I received a check for the amount of $4,950.00 via UPS express. The sender was Visalia CA, the check was made out to me from Grand Savings Bank & from a *** ***** in Durham NC. I then redownloaded the app to see if they had sent any further messages. They had reached out again since our last conversation asking how I was. I responded by apologizing for the delay as I had not experienced something like this before & had received a check inquiring if it was from them. They verified it was, I let them know I would need to have further discussion on whether I would want to move forward & they said it was fine. They also said if I should choose to not cash the check I could send it back??! Obviously, you would just cancel it!? Plus I had not signed anything or responded saying I was moving forward. I took further screen shots of all conversation & deleted the app again. When looking up the address for the name on the check it is a townhome residence in NC & the number for the recruiter would automatically end & not save in my phone that I had called. I got onto ScamPulse.com & found that in the last week I am now the 4th individual to go through this. I am assuming once you have deposited the money they send that is then how they hack your account. Sorry for the long review but hope all these details help someone else in the future. My initial contact from them was on June 6th,2023.
