I received 3 phone calls in a row from first a “Chris” and then a “Matthew” from a phone number that popped us as “Code America.” Chris announced he was from Placer County Human Services and needed information from me including the last four of my social, date of birth, and a mailing address. He couldn’t properly state what his phone call was regarding only that it was based on an application (again couldn’t say for what) and needed information. Both “Chris” and “Matthew” stuttered a lot and could not properly identify why they were calling.
