I purchased what I thought was a legitimate WordPress theme to use for my current business website to update the look. I tried the free version first, through my Word Press hosting company, but ran into being unable to customize colors and sections, so I opted for the upgrade because I did like the look of the trial theme. Within an hour or so, I found the new theme unable to customize, changing my colors errantly, and not saving my work. I looked for online help from the company and also through any online tutorials or help. I found nothing. The Freemius part of the business brought up unrelated information about reselling wordpress themes. I contacted the company for a refund. I have studied HTML/CSS design, so am not new to this, and have several successful sites. The rep from the company turned out to be in Armenia. He begged me to look at tutorials (which were not presented on the site, nor found on YouTube), and said he would teach me. I asked for a full refund as it was too much reworking, and it was not working in a technical sense. I had given my phone number in the payment transaction, and then the rep began to message me. It became harassing, especially when he kept asking me how old I was. I said that is irrelevant to my purchase of his software. When I went back to his site, I had found many instances of grammar and spelling, on top of links for assistance that just looped back to the main page, as well as bogus testimonials that just ran the Lorem ipsid filler text. I insisted on the refund, pointing out that it qualified for the terms stated on their website. I also filed a transaction dispute with my bank, and told that rep about the strange comments on age, and what did I do for a living and what were my skills. The Pixelonetry rep from Armenia (which I am suspecting is the owner of the company) has proceeded to message me over 30 times today alone. That is now harassment as I am at work and relayed that to the rep. I will be filing a complaint with my hosting company and Word Press as well as this is unacceptable and unprofessional behavior from a business that is being offered to their customers. I am hoping to have a full refund, but also to save others from having this wretched and extremely time consuming experience.
