I was searching pitbull breeder websites and found an image of a puppy on this website that i fell in love with. I contacted through the website and within 10 minutes i had a text message from them. I asked a lot of questions which this person answered. We agreed that a 40% deposit would be given to hold the puppy and another 20% would be paid prior to shipping the puppy to us. Balance would be paid upon arrival of the puppy. We did sent a $400 deposit via zelle payment to the supplied information. We were also advised the proper documentation for her being registered to the UKC would be provided and all vet paperwork. There was then a 24 hour window of time with no response from them. Today, they contacted back sending a contract to us. I reviewed the contract and it was very vague and contradicted details that were discussed. I asked for a new picture with a this person holding a piece of paper with today’s date. And i was sent a picture that was the same exact picture as was on the website with a photoshopped piece of paper under the puppy’s foot. I then began questioning more things and all information was contradicting. I then asked for a full refund of my deposit as it was a breach of our agreement. And then all contact stopped. And the bank advised that there is nothing they can do to get the money back to me.
