User be ware. They will ask you for a copy of your drivers license after you have signed up for and used the account. They will freeze your account until they get your ID, thus having access to your accounts and a copy of your photo ID. Bad bad idea.

This is BS. I have used Pirate Ship for months and never had this happen. The company is recommended by the New York Times and just entered a major partnership with Pitney-Bowes.

I used my credit card for about 20 days with pirateship.com, a shipping label company. In every month past the most I had in shipping was 300. In those 20 days they duplicate, triple charged, and worse i had $1900 in fraudulent charges.

Apparently they have new software that helps combine all the charges, it does not work. However I was charged multiple items, multiple times... And then charged for the total of everything as aggregate. Basically triple charging me. When I normally had 300 in shipping per month, in that 20 day period they charged over $1900 on my card. I have filed disputes but for some reason they have failed to recognize those fraudulent charges and haven’t taken them off of my credit card. My next action will need to be Criminal legal action. This is complete ineptness and tantamount to fraud.

The card used was mine, the account was under my wife’s name. I did not give permission for any of those charges, and the software does not work. Pirateship.com made a huge mistake and you need to own it.
