"Pioneer Credit Recovery" sent me a notice of Non-Compliance in the mail. It was for non payment for a speeding ticket (over $250) in a Calhoun County, GA that was never issued to me. I'm not a Georgia resident and I have never received a citation in that state. A quick call to the nice folks in Calhoun County Court Office confirmed that I had no outstanding traffic citations. The court clerk also told me that Calhoun County doesn't have a contract with any outside agency for collections.

The letter didn't have my complete address on the envelope, but I am active duty military and the military post office looked up my command and forwarded the letter to me. The letter heads looks like official Pioneer Credit Recovery (a real company), but the number and website listed on the letter don't match the official company's website. Scam phone is 855-287-3181 and the scam website is www.pioneercourtpay.com. I called the number and told them it was sent to the wrong address.
