I was told to pay money via apple pay for 2 male pugs. Initially it was for $450 to 312-581-7086 on 5/9/23
I then waited for delivery where I would pay the remaining money upon delivery ( 700).
The facebook messager profile disappeared and I was told she was hacked. A new profile was created and she reach out again..
After a week or more I thought that was the end and no contact. I reached out to the admin of the group and asked what was up. told him it was a scam. His name is David Miller. This too maybe a fake account. He reached out and got Beverly Ann in touch with me via text to my cell.
She then set up araingments to have 2 mail pugs sent to me via what I assumed was a pet shipper with nanny service.
This then led to my connection to pin point delivery where I was text by 802-387-0303 to confirm the shipment was for me.
I got a tracking number ( ppda0544377016472) that shows on the pin point page.
Then proceeded to tell me the puppies were in good shape and then asked for money for a crate (1500.00) that the money would be 98% refunded back to me. I paid this since the shipper sent them in general crates ( my assumption at the time.)
After that was paid via apple pay.. I was then contacted with a fee for life insurance for the puppies that would ( again) be refunded once puppies were delivered.
This is where I stopped and said enough. The shipper should pay that. When I refused to pay the $2400 I was then threatend with:"
“If the insurance certificate is not provided within 12hours, this puppies will be placed on Quarantine for the next two (2) months, and the parties related to this puppies will be claimed at the court of Law for pet abuse and pet abandonment Okay“
From all my looking, this fee is not required and the shipper is responsible for the animals till I take possession.
