Carlos Thomas, a man with an established, professional-looking, and wide LinkedIn network reached out to me regarding openings at his company through Linkedin. I scheduled a meeting time with him, then was put into a Zoom room with a different person whose name escapes me. When I asked for clarification on who this new person was, I was gaslit and asked the "on the offense" question "Well then how did you get into this interview". The person conducting the interview then explained he worked for a financial services company, completely different from the positions "Marketing, Sales, Consulting, Recruiting, Business Developments, and a few Leadership roles" that Carlos Thomas had claimed in his private message to me.

The person conducting the interview gave me a PowerPoint filled with vague, nonsensical facts about the financial brokerage industry, then went on to state he had an interest in training me as a broker, and presented that I would need to pay 155$ in order to start the process.

During my interview he let slip that in fact, the job was to be leading people through the presentation he was leading me though.

I believe this is a simple MLM grab-the-money-and-run scam.

I don't believe this company offers or has any intention of offering financial services to anyone but the people at the top of their pyramid who are siphoning money through predatory and emotionally abusive practices.
