Scam

Complete scam. We only communicated by text. They text me every day to see if check cleared. They wanted me to " complete the assignment" as soon as possible. When I told them I would not be able to compete assignment until Friday, they instructed me to send the money back but keep 410 dollars for myself. When I told them that the check was returned because it was written off a closed account they asked for a screenshot. When it was verified they just texted, okay.

Scam texts from “pinnacle mysteryshoppi g”. The ph numbers they text from are spoofed/fake numbers and they try to get you to buy money orders and gift cards.

Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

First I notified me by email that I was selected to be a mystery shopper. The next thing I knew it I received a certified letter in the mail with the check included for 1700 they told me to go to two stores and purchase money orders and or gift cards and then take picture of those and send those to them and take only a thousand of that for that purpose the other $700 with my payment but I knew it was a scam I could tell right away cuz my friend had gone through the same thing about 3 months of private prior to mine I'm not going to respond. Anytime somebody send you a check in that amount of money trusting that you won't cash it yourself it's got to be a scam no one pays out $1700 and trust the total stranger without some kind of catch and I'm certainly not going to deposit in my bank account.

They said to cash their check for 1290 into my bank acct. Then thru text she ask me to use my own money to buy 400. and 450 gift cards from check and I would be paid 410 from check. She text to use my own money to do tonight. I text back I did taxes and w[censored]d out. She text back u dont even have 400 to do one card. I text back said no. Then I went to you tube and saw another girl who had same thing down to her different company. I then called chase bank to verify check, and chase said we cant call it fraud, but they warned me to know this check had a high rate of return. I confronted 2nd person text Andrew Hawkins what chase had said by saying your check will bounce that's your bad and mine is watching your next step.I checked chase acct their check is still on hold at chase. I've changed my user and password ar the bank. Also they me screen shot chase receipt of my account deposit of their check Thursday.
