Received letter saying I won $900,000.00 and a check for 8,825.00 to cover tax and other handling expenses. I was asked to call a specific person to start the claim process. Was told not to act on letter until that person was contacted. Went to bank and found out check would have bounced as account had been closed. Check was written against account of company I called who did not even have an account with the bank indicated.
