I am in the market for a new job. I received the following email regarding a potential job. The person/place requesting a "meeting" does not exist. It is a phishing scheme to that wants you to pass an "employment check" prior to the meeting. Once you accept the invitation to meet/interview, you are sent a link to authorize a credit check -- which requires you social security number. I have redacted my information from the email below. They provide a link that appears legit -- but it is all a scam!!!! I didn't fall for the scam, but would like to let others know not to fall for it.
