I was texted about a potential job. Told me to go to teams for an interview to work for Pinewood healthcare. Went through a lengthy interview with messaging on Teams. Then was sent the offer letter and W-4 form. I didn’t do the form because I wanted to make sure it was a realt opportunity. They said they would send me a check to buy required software products for my computer. They sent it email and wanted me to print it off and scan it using my bank app. I was suspicious especially since it was for $3,000. So I called the bank they was on the check which was flagship community bank and they alerted me to it being a fake check. So I also googled the real company and called them and they also told me it wasn’t real.
