Found website during an online search for beagle puppies in my area. Website was very nice with plenty of perfect looking puppies and very competitive prices. There was an offer of a free shipping special that would end soon, but free shipping was offer through the U.S. Crate and a month’s supply of food were promised along with registration, health records, and some potty training of puppies. There was no indication of a physical address, name of breeder, nor business telephone listed on website. The only means of communication was through a “contact us” form, in which your name, address, telephone number, email address were requested. A quick response to the “contact us” request via email included a lengthy email with particulars the puppies and requesting a $500 deposit if shipping of the animal was desired. No specific business information was given if a customer want to pick up puppy on-site. After requesting a telephone number to discuss additional questions, a text was received asking if the email they sent had been read. When attempting to call the phone number, it rang and went to voicemail. A text back shortly said they were in the car driving at the moment. Later when video of puppy parents and references from previous customers was requested, no references were given but only a video of a dog was sent. When asking about form of payments accepted, they replied back with most major cash to cash platforms (PayPal, zelle, square cash, Venmo, wire). A payment was requested once I could confirm that I had Zelle set up. They requested personal information such as full name, address, email, phone to send the invoice that I had previously requested. When their business information was requested, no response has been received as of now. After pressing to get validating business information, their communications ceased.
