The scammer used Skype with a fake profile under the name Heather Santiago. They did an IM interview, instead of phone or video chat. They sent me a fake check that my bank noticed, thank God. Their goal was, after the check went through, to get me to use that money to purchase items for the job (laptop, Printer, etc.) through a "trusted" site. I never got that far so I don't know the sites.
