I received a call today from 866-421-1138. That number was in my caller ID. The caller stated it was the fire department. The man did not state which city. He was requesting a donation. I think he said $25. I agreed to donate $20. I said I appreciate the work the city does. I really did not know who it was. I asked who was calling. He said thank you very much and hung up. I called my councilman and reported the call. I did not give any personal information. Something did not feel right. They try to keep you on the phone. I gave no information.
