In response to an advertisement for a Phlex Edge (heart-rate, distance and stroke tracker for swimmers available from phlexswim.com) placed in the Wall Street Journal (name listed with the Phlex advertisement was Lucy Danziger) my wife and I placed an order with Phlex in July 2021. They immediately took our payment and then advised us on the E-mail receipt that they would provide shipping and delivery updates by E-mail. Expected delivery was shown as November 2021.

We received one brief E-mail after November 2021 advising us that delivery had been delayed until at least January 2022. No other communication from Phlex has been forthcoming. I have no hope of ever receiving the Phlex Edge that I purchased.

Repeated E-mails to Phlex have remained unanswered. The company website shows a California address, but after performing some basic internet searches it appears that the company address (3068 Oak Creek Road, Chino Hills, CA 91709) is a residence where the owner is shown to have moved out. This doesn’t give me much confidence and it certainly doesn’t match the company description as depicted on their website.
