On the 20 Th of May I called in on a HERTZ CAR RENTAL reservation number 877-977-6386 to extend my reservation and worked with a CSR named "Sam" who was courteous and helpful however this whole exchange turned out to be a scam. This person who responded to my request knew everything about my rental including where it started and where I was at present and offered to solve the problem and included a 400.00 discount if I could load a Go2 bank card and pay with that. I did as was requested and had the rental extended to May 27th. The next day, (5-21) I called Hertz to confirm what happened and found to my surprise that they had no idea any of this had transpired and claimed that no payments had occurred. I then called the same number of the previous day and spoke to "Sam" again who stated there was a mistake in processing and he would clear it up...Then hung up. I called back 3 times requesting "Sam" and all three times got hung up on. I got on the GO@ website and being unable to speak to anyone managed to find both of my cards had a zero value and were never used in any transaction. I have the receipt from the store clerk where they were purchased showing the cards were loaded the web site indicates they have no value and were never charged against....as if they were never used. Go2 Bank has no actual person to speak with and tells me by automation that my SS# is incorrect but there was no point in the process of activation where the system asked for this data and of course I would never give that out. Should I contact the FBI on this??
