I clicked on a message and that sent me a message my computer had a threat and needed to call phone number. I could not click it off my computer. Stupidly I called the number. Then they take over your computer and send you to one tech person after the other. Then they say you need to purchase a contact and crazy amount of money. Then they ask you for a check and take picture of it. Then they have you sign an agreement. Then they add stuff to your laptop. Then they call you multiple times for the money. Then they threaten to call the attorney general. Then they send you multiple texts a well. Then they keep calling. I was on FACEBOOK when I clicked the message thinking it was a message but a total set up. Then if not tech savvy like me it sounds believable for a bit with the tech and the IP address and what they tell you. Then I googled them and see that they have been doing to other people.
