Company emailed me about my resume and said I would be a good fit even gave me a welcome letter and a check for $3600.25 to get my office set up at home due to COVID 19 and that they would have different merchants reach out to me as the funds are disbursed. I sent the first $500 through my bank using Zell because that is the limit for Zell and they tried to get me to send another thousand dollars to a different person I started to do that Through cash app and it would not go through so I paid an extra $15 for it to go back in my bank immediately. This company has also reached out to the three references I gave them and offered them the same position with the same letterhead from the same company. I have a copy of the check it was a cashiers check from US Bank and Wells Fargo caught it and discovered it was fraudulent. I have a copy of it all including the conversations as well as the emails that they sent to my references.
