Phenomenal BIchons Reports & Reviews (2)

I located this company online to purchase a Bichon Frise puppy for my daughter. There website was very professional and the customer comments were very positive. I reached out to them and received a reply from David Nguyen. I expressed an interest in a cute puppy on their website name Charlie. On June 19, 2020 I received an email from David letting me know that Charlie was available and some of the characteristics of the puppy; he was 10 weeks old, AKC registered, potty trained and house broken. He mentioned that he was current with all of his shots and he went on to described Charlie as playful, well-socialized with other dogs, cats and people. The professionalism of David's response and the information he was providing did not give me any indication that he was a fraud and puppy scammer

He advised via email that I should pay for Charlie via the Zelle app and after the payment had been received Charlie would be removed from their website. When he provided his information to me to pay for the Charlie on Zelle he did not provide his banking routing number for the transfer from my account to his account. I asked him to provide that information but he didn't. Instead he asked me if I had cash app. I told him that I did and he asked that the payment for Charlie be done to the cash app that he provided; Florez Forte. This was on Wednesday June 24, 2020. On Thursday June 25, 2020 I received a text message from David stating the had to refund the $900 because his 'cashier cash app was messing up'. He gave me an alternative cash app and asked the the payment be paid to 'David Need - $DavidNeJr'. Now I'm getting a bad feeling about purchasing from him and was having second thoughts. I figured since he refunded the $900 paid to Florez Forte that he was legitimate. After several hours had pass I decided to complete to cash app payment for Charlie to the David Need. Yes, the original name for David Nguyen. He texted me a screen shot of the payment confirming he received it. I texted him back asking what time should I expect Charlie to be delivered to me on Friday June 26, 2020. He replied and stated around '5:30 at most' on Friday June 26, 2020. On Friday I was at home waiting for the puppy to be delivered. 5:30 came...no puppy and no word from David. 6:30 came...no puppy and no word from David. At 7:22pm I sent David a text message asking for an update on what was going on with Charlie. At 9:44pm I went onto cash app to request a refund from David Need for the $900 that I had paid for the puppy. I received the following message on cash app when I requested the refund; 'Your request couldn't be sent because David Need doesn't want to exchange cash with you.' It was at that time that I realized that I had been scammed. I attempted to call the phone number that I had for David, no answer. I sent a text message to David, no reply.

Getting this puppy was going to be a surprise for my daughter who was out of town with my wife and I wanted to have it for her when she got home on Saturday. I rushed into purchasing the puppy without doing my research on Phenomenal Bichons and David Nguyen. Currently there are no comments on the ScamPulse.com for Phenomenal Bichons so even if I had researched this site I would have not saw any complaints about fraudulent, scamming or any illegal practices from this company.

After I got scammed I logged onto the Better Business Bureau website and found complaints that David Nguyen has scammed others but using a different company names but the same business address; Passion Bichon and Joyful Bichon Frise. There were no complaints under the ScamPulse.com for Phenomenal Bichons.

I also researched Phenomenal Bishons under www.petscams.com and saw where they have over 400 comments where they have scammed others across the country. They also advertise they ship puppies and they took money from people to ship their puppy but they never got their puppy.

this guy sells Bichon puppies for $800 with a contract, a warranty, and AKC guarantees. Then tells you you will have your puppy with 4-6 hours. After 2 hours goes by he sends you a second notice of needing additional funds for a Covid 19 approved pet carrier for $1390 fully refundable upon delivery thru a company called Trans Live Logistics (3324 Peachtree Rd NE #1306, Atlanta, GA 30326). Two hours later he sends you a notice again thru Trans Live Logistics - which turns out is linked to him for additional fees for fully refundable pet insurance. And no puppy arrives on time at the Denver Airport. This guy and his links are all scammers. I have email proof of his many email addresses, venmo accounts, Zelle accounts, Pay Pal Accounts etc. Zelle - [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected] : Venmo - @Heddy-hawkins; David Nguyen
