I believed I was calling Covered Ca health insurance, but was directed to an agent who sold me health insurance that is fraudulent. He knew all the insurance lingo and quoted me a cheaper plan than what I was on.

Very sophisticated scam that includes fake web sites and confirmation emails with your new member ID.

But.. in hindsight too good to be true. He didn’t want to get me off the phone and was willing to waive additional fees or lower the price every time I showed hesitation.

I don’t want others to fall victim of this scam.
