Don't fall for the Shark tank Keto scam! At the end of July, an ad came up while I was playing a game on my smartphone, and I impulsively fell for it. It promised easy weight loss by taking a supplement once a day that the TV show Shark Tank had endorsed. I should have known it was too good to be true but it must have caught me at a weak moment. It said it was free, just pay $6.95 for shipping & handling. I provided my information & then a pop up came up saying for just the cost of shipping, get the special cleanse formula too. I pressed "no thanks" but before I knew it, I was being charged another $6.95 for the cleanse as well. I figured I would receive the product & cancel it right away. So I was out nearly $14.00 bucks...no big deal! When the 2 bottles arrived, there was no information on how to contact this company at all. The bottles supposedly from PharmaLabs labeled "Keto BHB" & "Keto Detox", came in a non-descript manila envelope with a P.O. Box from California & no other information. It wasn't until after I checked my credit card statement, that I was able to get a phone number. This company that came up on my credit card statement as "Quikrevolv" & "Allureradia" had charged me almost $400.00 & all I received was the 2 "free" bottles that I didn't want in the first place. I quickly called my credit card company, filed a dispute & put a stop pay on any future charges. My credit card company advised me to call the company to cancel further shipments, so I called the phone number of this scam company & talked to a woman named "Jodi". She claimed the $400.00 charges were for 2 months of shipments I had received in August & September since I had not canceled my subscription after receiving the "free bottles". I told her there was no information sent to me with these free bottles, so I had no way to contact them to cancel. And I didn't receive anything else! All she could say was "sorry about that". She said since I kept the "free bottles" & didn't call to cancel, I was charged for them. Again I told her that they didn't provide a phone number for me to call to cancel!! Jodi then tried everything she could by offering me a 35% refund on the September shipment, that I never received either, since she said I can't return the products due to Covid restrictions. I told her I didn't receive any products other than the "free bottles" so when I said no, I want a 100% refund on that $400.00, she offered me 50%. I stood my ground & she came back & offered a 75% refund after supposedly talking to her supervisor. Again I said no. I told her that if or when the shipment arrives, I will not accept them & will send them back. My credit card company recommended I do that so I have no further obligation. She told me to keep them "with no obligation" since she wasn't sure if their warehouse would accept returns. I then told her that I had already contacted my credit card company & would be contacting the ScamPulse.com as well. It wasn't until then did she offer a 100% refund, although it wasn't clear if she was refunding me $400.00 or only $200.00, as long as she said that I call my credit card company & drop the dispute. I told her I would not since there's no way I could trust that I would be refunded at all by her scam company & it would then look like I was accepting these charges. She claimed that she canceled my subscription so I will not incur further charges & no further shipments will be sent to me, but it's now in the hands of my credit card company. I hope I can get my money back & will never fall for a scam like this again!
