Scammer called 4 times with the same phone number as PG&E. Threatened to shut off service within 30 minutes if the balance on the account was not paid. Automated message said to press a number, which connected to a "representative" that shared the balance amount and collected name and address in a similar fashion that PG&E typically does to confirm an account. This "representative" then transferred to another "representative" for payment, who explained something to the effect that their "autopay matrix was recently upgraded and that's why an outstanding balance occurred". They hung up immediately after it was mentioned that this sounded like a potential scam. Called PG&E who confirmed that this was indeed a scam.
