I found out about this company through a targeted Facebook ad. Thinking this was Patagonia (via a very sophisticating looking site), I chose a jacket. When it came to purchasing the item, only PayPal was an option, which should have made me suspicious. I proceeded and saw that the purchase was made to a company called "Jinwei Technology Co. , Ltd" or [email protected]. I reached out to Patagonia and they confirmed that this was indeed a scam with a fraudulent company pretending to be them and that Patagonia does not advertise on Facebook in the first place.
