Received test message about my indeed resume and a job interview. Setup interview through “signal” app. I was sent multiple (prewritten messages) job briefing. Interview etc. I was asked a few questions that I had 30 minutes to complete and then they messaged me back that I scored 7.5 out of 10 and was hired. They asked me to setup a gmail account and email sensitive documents ie; voided check, checking and routing number and front and back photo ID for onboarding. The recruiter kept mentioning that my supplies would be delivered by fedex and they would give me tracking soon. With that they would send a check to reimburse me for said supplies. Which didn’t make sense. Then they asked me to buy (3) $100 eBay gift cards to buy my office supplies with. That is when my guard went up. As I questioned it they sent me a name tag with anP&G lanyard attached to try and prove it wasnt scam. She then said I would get $200 for sign on bonus and kept trying to keep me hooked despite my worries. When I called employee support at P&G to go over the process and ask if I was in their system as a new hire they said no and explained they didn’t do their hiring processes like that, it was more than likely a scam and they were terribly sorry.
