I answered an ad for Chihuahua puppies and the lady did agree to fee of 700 instead of$1000. She stated she lives in Laredo and I am about 8 hours away. I agreed to meet her in a local city and she said she couldn't because she did not have a car. She states she had a delivery service that would deliver next day. When I contacted business, they said I must use Zelle to pay shipping fee. I told them that I can't use Zelle, my bank will not do business with them and I would use Paypal. They gave me another email address for paypal account and said it would take up to 24 hours to verify payment. I asked for pictures of the pups and they couldn't provide me with any. If they have the puppies, which they stated they already picked up, they why can't they send pics? The next day, after 24 hours, they said again that the money was not verified yet and they would wait another 24 hours before shipment. Again, said the puppies were being taken care of, but will not send pictures. Accused me of pressuring them because I chose to use Paypal and not Zelle and asking them for pictures. At this point, I decided it was a scam. I cancelled the Paypal payment and the original poster of the ad has not contacted me at all for payment balance or status of the puppies. They will not answer my emails, texts or calls. I have kept all of the text messages, emails from them so if needed, please let me know
