So I just lost my dog. Saw these cute mini dachshunds online. Started communicating . Seemed like a family business . I got pics and videos . We signed a purchase agreement. Then went to pay. He offered 3 payment choices. I chose Paypal then he said his quota for the week was up. He son was helping do his financing in CA Could I do Zelle or Moneygram. My bank didn't support Zelle. So I am embarrassed to say I did Moneygram. I never did one before . The next he emailed and said he was going to airport to get flight together . Then I got an email from Elegant shipping saying I had to get an upgraded crate for $1200.00 . I had to do it now and send a monegram within the hour.

I emailed him back saying I would get my own shipper and never heard from him again. So sad I had no idea how many puppy scammers there were . his site should be shut down. Also I did realize that Phillip answered my email not Peter same as others reported.

Similar situation, $700 for puppy plus many extras plus free shipping anywhere in the world, all for $700. Too good to be true. Cost for shipping from Georgia USA to Canada for 2 puppies would be probably more than that.
When I start asking specific questions about details Peter just disappeared, clearly didn’t want to answer.
First red flag was when he texted me saying “check your email “.
Long hair miniature dachshunds usually cost $1500-3000 and if delivery is a part of transaction they would charge you for this extra. Depends of your location $500-1200.
It’s a scam.

We found a site online selling Dachshunds for $700.00 including many extras. Because there was no identifiable information than Peters Dachshunds I tried to look them up as they claim to be AKC breeders and shower's and I could not find anything except Phillips Dachshunds. I messaged through the site and received an email from ** stating they were out of Columbus GA and his name was Peter **. I found it odd that Phillips Dachshunds were also out of Columbus GA and that owners name is Phillip **. They want you to send $700.00 and they will get with breeders and guarantee all of those things and they no longer mention AKC papers. I am sure this is a scam because these puppies sell for much more.
