Recently I began a renovation project on my mom’s kitchen and sought out a contractor to furnish and install the cabinets, counter tops and sink. I found a GC that appeared to be licensed named Peter Kostantinov with Premier Construction services. I reached out to him for a proposal to perform the work and he got right back to me with a price on the space I described and what I was looking for. It sounded like a reasonable price so I signed the proposal and paid a deposit of $1.550.00. This was paid and signed on 9/1/15. After that the communication was scarce and the only time I could get a hold of him was if I called from an unknown number. After numerous scheduled dates with no calls and not showing up finally on 9/22/15 a gentleman named Bobby (who does not work for Pete directly but does work on the side for cash) came to my moms and demolished the kitchen this took 3 hours. During the demo a cord was ripped out of the wall causing a hole (see pics) which we were told would be resolved during the install and covered up with the cabinets. Since that day nobody has been back nor have I seen any cabinets. I was told they were ordered and arrived but still no sign of them or Peter. He refuses to answer my calls, text or emails and his voicemail is full and not able to accept more messages. He also has 54 unread messages at his supposed “office” which had no address or website. He claims to work for 3 separate companies including Premier Construction services, KPI Group inc, KPI Group LLC and Peter Kostantinov Real Estate. When I research his license as listed on the ad I cannot locate it anywhere. At this time my mother’s kitchen is still demolished and her entire kitchen (dished, appliances, plumbing etc.) is piled up all over her house. It is not a safe environment for my children to visit or for someone to live in. I have requested that my deposit be returned but have yet to receive a dime back. I have received numerous estimated ranging from $7,000-$10,000 to have this horrible work resolved and the kitchen back to working order. I need assistance in getting this resolved if you can please help so this guy doesn’t do this to anyone else. The guy Bobby also informed me recently that he has yet to be paid and that Peter owes him a large amount of money from previous jobs he was never paid for. Peter needs to be stopped and if he does have a contractor’s license which I don’t think he does then it needs to be revoked for doing horrible business.
