Company poses as a private/hard money lender for investment property rehabs. Website looked legit, with loan process until all pre-approval documents were sent in (typical loan approval documents) with all of my personal information. Anyone that has ever bought a house know that all transaction will be done with an attorney, but their process kept changing. They initially asked for the property details, but for the amount of the loan they were no questions asked after that point, no appraisal, required inspections, plans to tell me if I was approved, or typical document searches on the property until I wired $11,000 to their CFO, and then they would deposit the loan directly into my bank account.

I questioned the process and started researching the company again (should have dug deeper sooner!) the website disappeared and I can't find any legit business for Peter James Corporation.
