Initiated a purchase of animal for pet advertised online that included shipping charges. The next day I was contacted by this shipping company about required flight insurance for purchased animal. Was told this charge was refundable. Against my better judgement, I transferred the "insurance fee" to them though CashApp. The insurance fee was more expensive than the animal being purchased. A few hours later I was contacted again and told that I need to rent a specialized crate for the animal, again a very large "refundable" amount.

I contacted the seller of the animal to initiate a refund since my initial contract already included shipping costs and I cannot continue the transactions with the shipping company. Since then I have initiated a chargeback request with the shipping company which they have declined. The original seller of the animal appeared to be aware of the methods the shipping company used and I am concerned that they are working together as I have requested a refund for the animal that never shipped and am have problems there as well.

The fake dog breeder supposedly located in Guymon, OK at **** N. Academy St. required a $1,000 deposit in order to ship a Tibetan Mastiff puppy. We had spoken on the phone, communicated via text and email and it was not until the pet logistics company noted in this scam report (Pet Ultimate Logistics) demanded $1,500 insurance to ship the puppy that I became concerned. Pet Ultimate Logistics claimed this was required by law to ship a dog and they sent emails and called me regarding the required $1,500 additional payment.

After searching online I discovered that the pet logistics company was a scam and that the associated breeder must be too. I tried to call the breeder who only responded via text that insurance was required and "refundable". I have copies of all communications and the various emails, websites and phone numbers that were used for this scam. I have filed a fraud dispute with my bank as the name on the transfer changed from what I entered to what was name was shown on the transfer confirmation (changed from Leslie Paul to Leslie Lozano). Both the fake breeder and fake insurance company representatives had either Russian or Eastern European accents.
