I was looking into purchasing a pair of kittens from someone posing as a breeder on Facebook. They had numerous positive reviews and stories to support their case. When we began communicating we discussed the price for the kittens at 800 each. There was no mention of any additional fees or requirements, the person claimed to have the animals DNA'd, chipped and would provide an initial support package of toys food and the like. Initially they asked for the full amount in one payment using CashApp. I demurred and told them I would not pay the whole amount until I had received the animals, after some badgering on their part the payment was 1100 and the remaining 500 to be paid after delivery. I was then contacted by the supposed shipping company, and told I needed to pay an additional 450 to 900 dollars for a specially ventilated crate. None of that was discussed previously, when I said no the seller became very pushy and demanding of fees being paid. I checked the profile of the person at the "shipping company" on cashapp and it was very obvious it was not a business account but a personal one. The seller has continued to badger and push via text for money.

Once the seller gave me this tracking info, over 5 hours later (after the seller supposedly shipped the kitten) the shipping carrier stated I had to have pet insurance under the us congress 1990 importation and exportation act.

They sold me a puppy which never arrive. They send me videos, pictures and even a fake delivery profile on a fake agency website.
