My daughters was looking on her pinterest account when her computer went to a blue screen. Trying to get off the blue screen and not being able to, she then contacted the number that was on that blue screen because it was saying that her computer was compromised. The number was listed as 1 888 727 0365, which was a company going by PES*TECH SUPPORT......XIAMEN and while waiting for them to pick up her computer started beeping. As the person answered and she told them what was going on, he said that he needed to access her computer in order to fix the problem. So in thinking that they were a company through Microsoft, she let them on and he then said that he would get rid of the beeping and she said that it looked like he just lowered the volume but then he went in to detect the problem and gave her a larger number and said that was how many viruses that she had on her computer at that time. Then they said that they could fix the problem and that they can provide her with a lifetime warranty service for a fee of $498.61. Thinking that is was a legitimate business that she was dealing with she decided to go ahead and get the protection that they offered her, and then she gave them the information from her Blue Green credit card and they charged her account in the amount of the $498.61 which was on Jan. 20, 2016 and it cleared the bank on Jan. 21, 2016. Last week around March 17 or 18th her computer did the same thing, only this time the phone number was different. It was 1 888 353 1458, so she called and told them that her computer was doing the same thing as before and needed them to fix it under the protection that she purchased, but they acted like they didn't know what she was talking about.

She explained what had happened back in January and that she bought their life time protection plan, only they said that it wasn't them. Confused and angry she decided to take it to someone local in the Gainesville Florida area to have it fixed. Which now it's costing her even more money. The fixed the problem after she told them her story and they then told her that the first person she called and the second person was most likely working together on that the scam. She was so upset and confused by all this, that she called me and I told her to call the ScamPulse.com and report this scam and that she needed to contact her banks and credit card companies and let them know what had happen. She did as I said but that still left her without the $498.61 that she paid them via her credit card. She wants her money back, so I decided to report this to yall so her money gets returned to her.
