I applied for a remote job on LinkedIn that didn't look out of the ordinary. I was emailed later by someone named Brucell Walsnovich ([email protected]) about how I had been selected to do an interview for this position. I was to email the senior recruiter Lauren Carson ([email protected]) to get this interview set up. She then sets up the interview. When I emailed her the day of the interview expecting to do a video interview, she sent me just a word document of questions to answer. All of the questions were normal interview questions for the position I applied for. I sent them back and within the hour got an email that I had been hired. This seemed fishy since it was so quick. They also said they would he paying me $60 an hour with flexible hours. I also noticed they didn't have a phone number or address in their email signatures. The next day they sent me the offer letter detailing all of the free stuff they would be sending me to set up my home office. They sent this through a different email that was signed as Gary Castillo ([email protected]). They wanted me to sign the offer letter and send it back with a copy of my social security card and my liscence. I then email this Lauren again and asked if there was any way she could confirm for me that this was a real thing. I explained all of the things that caused me to doubt. She finally answered back a day later and didnt even acknowledge the email I sent asking if this was real. She just sent a reminder to sign the offer letter and send my social and liscence over.
