I saw the ad on Craigslist and emailed out of curiosity and because a large wage was promised. However, the first email back contained typos, did not contain the company's names, and seemed fairly sketchy, so I sent several questions back. They asked me to buy a printer and magnetic ink in order to print out checks and mail them to their customers, promising to reimburse me for the purchase of the printer and/or ink. However, this did not seem logical for a business to do, so this indicated that something was up. They also said my loyalty would be needed, and that I would learn to trust them, which sounded strange. Their company name (Perkins Bakery Inc.) seemed vague and dodgy, and also, rather than answering my questions, they just asked for my phone number, which I mistakenly gave. They texted me rather than call me, but at this point I was too afraid and so I didn't respond or do anything (this did give me the phone number I provided in this report though). I blocked the number and ceased all communications with this person at this point.
