I was shopping for a Cavapoo puppy and found this site. I picked the puppy I wanted and got in touch with the breeder. He told me he was located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I told him which puppy I wanted and he said he could deliver it via airplane to the nearest airport to us. He said it would cost $950 plus $200 to deliver it to our door. I asked him his name after I detected a foreign dialect. He would not give me his name nor the name of his vet and telephone number. At that point I decided he must be a fraud and stopped communicating with him. I would have been out $1050 and not have a puppy.

You were smarter than me. I fell for it. I sent the money. It wasn’t until the night before the “delivery” I suddenly had bad feelings and sure enough that next day some claiming to be from an airport calls and says my puppy is not in the proper shipping crate and I will need to send another 1050 for the air conditioned crate. At that point I said obviously I’m stupid but you can’t get me twice. They actually called a couple of times and then accused me of abandoning the puppy. Long story. It was heart breaking. I fell in love with a puppy that wasn’t even for sale. It took a couple months but I did get my $$ back. What a nightmare. The only good thing out of all of this was my perfect little baby Maltese that I got just a few days later. LOCAL.
