They arrange for a puppy dog/adoption, collect a deposit, and then send them to an address that is in not involved in selling puppies.

On May 1st 2021, I contacted Perfect Chow Chows via the email contact link on their website regarding one of the puppies they offered for sale on that website. They responded to my questions and explained how payment would be made for the purchase of an AKC registered female chow puppy named Furball and provided information regarding the health of the dog and plans for shipping. Later that evening they sent a contract for me to sign for the purchase and explained that once the contract was signed and returned and payment was made via Zelle, that travel arrangements would be made and I would receive my puppy at the local airport within the week. I spoke to Robert Shade on the phone May 2nd, 2021 to verify all of the information and was assured that I would be able to contact them throughout the process and that my puppies travel arrangements would be made immediately upon confirmation of full payment and that I would receive a refund if their were any problems with my purchase. I was instructed to pay a total of $750.00 via Zelle in two consecutive payments. I made the first payment of $500.00 on May 3rd, 2021 and the second payment in the amount of $250.00 on May 4th, 2021. I then sent proof of payment immediately following the transaction and received an email promising to begin making delivery arrangements and alert me as soon as they were made. I contacted the company May 5th inquiring as to the travel arrangements since I had not yet received the promised information, and was assured that I would receive an itinerary for a Friday shipment. That was the last time I received any information from the company. I never received the puppy, travel arrangements were never sent to me. I attempted, repeatedly to contact them via email and received no response, I also attempted to call the company repeatedly and left messages as there was no answer, but they never returned my calls. I became concerned that I may have been scammed and had my father contact the company posing as a new customer and the company did respond to his emails and calls and they sent him all of the information on how to make the purchase and agreed to sell him the same dog and did not tell him that she was already sold. I sent the company one final email requesting an immediate refund since the company had breeched our agreement on May 8th, 2021 and as of May 11th, 2021 still have received no response, despite the fact that they are still regularly communicating with my father who they believe is a potential customer.
