I found what looked to be a legitimate website for a corgi puppy. I contacted the seller and was sent what I thought were actual pictures of a puppy. I signed a contract and sent money with reassurances that the puppy would come by Pet Express. I then received an email from a fake email address asking for money for a thermal crate as this was required and I fell for it. Then another email came asking me for my drivers license and social insurance number big red flag and did not send this information. I received another email asking for yet again for more money for needles and a pet license so I cut off contact telling them that they were running a scam and I was reporting them. They sent one more email saying they were coming after me for puppy abandonment and abuse.
