After many appointments at many different places my mother, sister, and I were ecstatic to get to Pearl Bridal. Everyone was warm and welcoming when we got to the boutique, we were served spritzers and a cheese plate and were shown their dresses. After trying on a few dresses I found MY dress. It was my perfect dream dress, all of us were crying and just so excited to finally have a huge stress taken off my wedding to-do list. My mom paid in full that day and I have been showing the pictures to family and friends explaining how I cant believe I found something so perfect. We were told that the dress could take 6 to 8 months to come in but they would put a rush on the shipping to get here in time for my fall wedding. We put it out of our minds and went along to the next thing on the list. Some time later my grandparents called us and said that the shop where we found my dress is on the news and they're bankrupt! I broke down into tears, I thought I had finally found my dress but now I am back to square 1. It has been devastating when people ask how my dress is coming along and I have to fill them in that I am back to looking for a dress. I really hope that all of this gets sorted out because it is truly a horrible thing to do to so many brides when everything is already so stressful. Best of luck to everyone who is back to dress hunting like myself, we will have our dream days.
