A gentleman named Eric Lemoore called our office to ask to verify employment for one of our employees named *** ***. I told him I could only verify the information he already had. He asked me to verify her SS# which I did not. I asked about her employment status, job title, and address. I told him if Sophia applied for a loan with this company they should already have this information for me to verify. He asked for our company fax number, who was our payroll company, and or SEIN number - all information outside the realm of an employment verification and a red flag. I questioned his reasons for wanting his info and vaguely answered he worked for Peak Professional Financial Service and told to call to verify this information on Sophia. He could not provide a reason why or who gave him her name. he transferred me to his boss Justin Regnier who stumbled through my inquiries and could not answer one question. I collected their address and phone number and after I hung up, conducted an Internet search of this company. They do not exist! I think this company is a scam phishing personal information for employees and random companies. Please investigate immediately and shut them down!!
