Mary (HR Director) contacted me from PDi Spirit via email about a job offer. The job was for a remote Customer Service Accounts Receivable position. She requested my banking information, which she told me via phone would be for payment/direct deposit purposes only. Then she informed me via email that she would sent $1500 to my account, which as a part of my training I would need to withdraw the money in cash and deposit it into a special ATM to be converted to cryptocurrency. I immediately sensed a scam and reached out to the Better Business Bureau.
