"This business seems to sell its computer virus protection programs via warning messages that pop up on the viewing screen warning the viewer that their IP address has been compromised and that they (the user) must contact PC Virus Pros immediately to install virus protection. The web page warning has a voice message that repeats as it warns the victim that "turning off the computer" will result in data loss, and that an immediate call to PC Virus Pros is the only hope of saving the data on the computer."
In addition, the scammer inserted porn into my computer under the guise of performing a virus removal then threatened to expose me to the authorities unless I remitted additional funds to have that removed.. I declined then had a local service remove whatever they had inserted.
