I called in to what I still believe is the correct PCs for People support line. I needed to complete a transaction I started online but could not finish. I called twice on June 22, 2023. The first representative asked for the username and password associated with my account so that she could verify details and help fix the issue with my order. I reluctantly provided that, and she claimed the issue was resolved. WIthin the next two days, multiple of my accounts associated with that email had log-in attempts, including at least two successful attempts using that password. I quickly changed passwords on all known accounts that had used the stolen password or variations of it. A fraudulent charge was also attempted on the credit card I had used for the purchase. The false charge was for $559.60 at a CBD gummies store, which I reported immediately to the credit card company and shut down that credit card.
