I called a number that I thought was Delta Airlines customer service, but i misread some of the numbers and called an incorrect number. The person who answered acted like they worked for Delta and later confessed they were an "overflow agency." I gave them my personal information to book a flight and then cancelled when he tried to get me to authorize the sale through email (I noticed it was not Delta). The associate charged $400 more for the flight than Delta was charging and was saying I would get $3k fewer Skymiles than Delta gives me for this same flight. I cancelled, but a $534 charge is pending on my American Express. I attempted to call the company back to lodge my complaint about the charge and about the lies they told me, and the number was disconnected or busy each time. This is a scam.
